It’s always funny hearing someone warn a Georgian about the heat. While headlines in New York are calling for a hot week, folks across the south have already been grinding through days pushing 100° with heat indices near 110°. Heat is heat, and it deserves respect wherever you are, but there’s something to be said for perspective. After a southern summer, a few hot days in the Northeast just feel like another day at the office—just remember to stay hydrated, keep moving, and don’t let the weather slow you down.
